The advanced optics and electronics provide high first pass read rates for a wide range of labels. The electronics easily compensate for varying scan speed to accommodate human factors.  The heavy walled cast metal housing protects the functional parts of the scanner from accidental damage. The size and weight of the scanner help keep it stationary during use.  The base of the scanner allows for six different cable exit positions. Four threaded holes in the base of the scanner allow for easy mounting of the scanner.  The scanner is sealed from both water and dust penetration. This scanner is ideal for both dirty and dusty applications, including outdoor scanning stations.  The slot scanners are available as un-decoded devices or with a built in decoding function. Both RS-232 and keyboard wedge devices are available.  Both visible red and infrared illumination systems are available. The IR version is ideal for security applications.
